I learned about the chain of events that lead to the great depression.
The Americans loaned the Germans Weimar Republic and the Germans were not able to repay the Americans so the Americans had lost a lot of money. Same thing with Britain, France, and Russia. With all these country's losing money, major unemployment and trade stocks went down and the entire world stepped into a worldwide depression. I question why did it take so long for them to get out of the great depression And im wondering why did the Americans force the Germans to pay such great amounts, but loan them to help them pay the money that was going to them.

How did hitler gain, consolidate and maintain power in germany before the great depression?2/24/2020 I learned about Adolf Hitlers early life.
Hitler joined the German workers party after the end of WWI and began to deliver speeches speaking against the treaty of Versailles and what he was going to do in resolve of it. Hitler spoke in a beer hall and was kicked out for his beliefs against the Jews. I learned about the main 3 factors in Adolf Hitlers book "Mein Kampf" Anti Semitism, Racial purity, and undesirables all going to the same conclusion that Jews are bad and that the world should be filled with the perfect race. i have no questions im not wondering anything What did you learn
I learned about the treaty of versailles affects I learned how the end of the war caused a bad working republic called the weimar republic. This republic allowed women to vote, made a bill of rights, and smaller parties within the weimar republic. I learned about the bad things of the republic and how and why it didn't go well. I learned how after they had economic problems the germans began to blame the jews for the reasons of their poverty. I have no questions. I am still curious about why did the U.S. force the germans to pay and repair with great amounts of money if they were just going to loan them and go to war with them later. |
